The Oilers play the second half of a back-to-back that has started off with another rout-type loss. Hopefully the Oilers can come out with a better effort this afternoon, I didn't watch the game yesterday but I did listen to it, and if the team was half as bad as the radio was making it seem the Oilers are not in good shape. Our PK is inept, our PP is inert and our even-strength scoring is non-existant.
In short: we need to be better. 5 goals allowed in one period is not okay for any team, let alone one that was talking about the possibility of a division title before the season started.
The Oilers are in tough tonight as they're in Minnesota, a building where the Oilers perpetually play badly, to try and get back on track. Someone needs to find a way to get this team to show up in the first period, enough of this 'come-back' sh--. I want a decisive win.
